The Swinburne/CAE Bachelor of Aviation program is the only course in Victoria that delivers MECIR, IR, ATPL, FIR, and entry-level qualifications into the aviation industry​
We provide top-tier training with a comprehensive team that includes multiple CASA Authorised Testing Officers. The majority of our instructors hold Grade 2 or higher training endorsements.
Our fleet of 39 aircraft and a flight instructor-to-student ratio of 1:5 ensure timely program completion. We train over 200 pilots annually, supported by more than 100 flight instructors and ground staff.
CAE owns a onsite maintenance facility to ensure rapid turnaround times for training aircraft. Our in-house maintenance team includes Licensed Aircraft Engineers (LAME) with over 20 years of experience.
All our Grade 3 single-engine flight instructors are employed directly from the Graduate Certificate Program. CAE Melbourne Flight Training offers a clear career path for our employees.
On average, our instructors spend approximately two to three years with us before transitioning to airlines, ensuring a structured and progressive career trajectory.
