IMPORTANT INFORMATION – PLEASE READ BEFORE BOOKING:

• The minimum age requirement for participation in this activity is 16 years. 
• If any participant is under 18 years of age, you must notify us prior to booking. This is to ensure that the assigned instructor holds a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC), as required by law. 
• The 3-hour Trial Introductory Flight (TIF) package must be conducted over 2 or 3 separate days. You must allow at least two weekends to complete this course, as each flight will normally take place on a different day. This arrangement also provides additional flexibility in the event of weather-related cancellations.

1. 60-Minute Trial Introductory Flight (AUD $640.00)

2. 35-Minute Trial Introductory Flight (AUD $384.00)
   • 0.6-hour (35 minutes) training flight in a single engine Cessna 172 aircraft

3. 3-Hour Package (AUD $1,800.00)*
   • A great opportunity to determine your fitness to fly
   • 3 x 1.0-hour training flights in a single engine Cessna 172 aircraft with the following flight lessons:
     • Effects of Controls (1.0-hour);
     • Straight and Level (1.0-hour);
     • Medium Level Turn (1.0-hour).
   • Professional Instructor
   • Mass briefings
   • Pre and post flight briefings
   • One-on-one experience
   • Pilot logbook
   • Training notes (return to CAE after training)

• Minimum age is 16 years, and under 18s must obtain written parental consent.
• You must be able to understand and act upon/respond to instructions provided in English.
• You must be in good health with no major medical illness.
• No experience is required; you will be supervised by an expert instructor at all times.
• No excess alcohol consumption the night before.
• It is recommended to have a light meal prior to the flight.

• Changes to your booking can be made up to 24 hours before the start time of your experience.
• Changes are not permitted within 24 hours of your scheduled experience.
• Late arrivals or no-shows may result in forfeiture of your experience without a refund.
• Please note that booking cancellations, reschedules, or refunds are not accepted on the day of your booking.
• CAE Melbourne Flight Training will contact you to reschedule if weather conditions impact your flight.

Because it is a training flight, only the participant and the instructor are allowed to be in the aircraft. People who are not registered or paying participants are not permitted on the apron, airside area, or inside the aircraft. You cannot take your family and/or friends with you on this flight.

• This is a one-on-one experience with your instructor.
• Spectators can view take-off and landing from the airport fence on both sides of CAE’s main building.

• Please wear enclosed shoes.
• Sunglasses are recommended for comfort during your flight.
